Terningkast 5! -Mon tro om jeg har ligget med noen fra Gudbrandsdalen?

Vi har nemlig fått vår første norske anmeldelse av den nye plata vår som kommer 8. Mars, og jeg trodde faktisk først at det var kødd. Det er nemlig første gang en norsk avis har snakket så pent om oss, og også utelukkende om plata og ikke alt det andre jeg har gjort;) Det er ikke det at det gjør noe å nevne alt det andre, men det gjør ofte at de setter plata litt i skyggen. Og når det er plateslipp så er det jo plata som skal være i fokus! Så nå erklærer jeg: jeg elsker Gudbrandsdalen! Hipp hurra for dem!

THE WEIRDEST THING! But help me out, and you'll get free music;)

Who would have thought... This might sound like bragging, but who cares. It's pretty interesting info, at least to me.


My first thought was that this must be a mistake from the website that posted it, but it actually looks valid. www.sol.no and the search engine www.kvasir.no are among the biggest, if not the biggest, Norwegian news site and search engine.

Moving on, if you check out this link, you'll see that in week 4 in 2012, the name most people had searched for in Norway was mine! Hah! Yeah, it's pretty weird. Why now? Has something happened that I don't know about? I had a "scandal" in Norway 3 years ago, that lasted for 2 weeks. So why and how did my name suddenly top the search list now? I have no idea. Well, well.

The reason I'm excited about it, is because of the excellent timing! As you know, Caroline & The Treats have a new album coming out on March 8th, so it's no better time than this one to get a little attention. But what on earth can I do with this information? How can I use it to promote our album? I have no idea, actually... But still, it has to be good news right?

Who has ideas? Gimme, gimme, gimme! I want your help on this! Help me promote the album, please!  I'll send you free copies... ;)

TOUR OF ITALY 2012

We had an awsome tour in Italy this January, and we did 14 shows in 16 days! Among other cool happenings, we finally got to play Torino and United Club! That's an honour. Here's a video from that night, where we cover "Saturday Night". My microphone fucks up in the middle, but don't worry 'bout that :)
