"GIMME GIMME GIMME" MUSIC VIDEO!!!!

ENGLISH VERSION BELOW THE VIDEO

Yes, sir! Our newest music video is here! "Gimme Gimme Gimme", from our album "Bad All Over", is on the soundtrack of the Norwegian movie hit "Tomme Tønner 2" and we made a music video together with the movie makers. Once again, as with our Make Out With You video, we are simply playing the song, without any acted out story or hidden messages to take focus away from the awsome song. The song is standing on it's own rockin' feet – with 6" heels! :)

PREMIEREFEST FOR TOMME TØNNER 2

FIND THE ENGLISH, AND SLIGHTLY LONGER, VERSION BELOW THE VIDEOS! :)

Her er to små opptak:

Tonight was the release, of the huge Norgwegian movie "Tomme Tønner 2", and, as it should be, this was celebrated big-time! Caroline & The Treats were going to the movie premiére, but, of course, our band-van broke down, because of a stupid leak, and we didn't get to see the actual movie, in which we are proud to contribute on the soundtrack with our song "Gimme Gimme Gimme". So now we're in for a movie-treat next week in stead! BUT; we did play a 20 minute mini-concert at the actual releaseparty! That's where the videos above was filmed, tonight. You won't believe how nervous I was, being used to the rock crowds that we usually play for, ´cause at this releaseparty, there was a totally different kind of audience. I bet you can imagine what hip kind I'm talking about. But, still, it was actually a whole lot of fun, and we enjoyed ourselves! It's always fun to turn a few people who still hasn't discovered the true power of the R'N'R.  Still, I am so fucking excited now to go to Spain and play for their crazy rock'n'roll audience! We'll have so much fun! Yippi!

Oh, and I have to tell you this: before we played "Make Out With You", I saw this really cute, young man in the audience, and I asked him: "Do you like to make out?" And do you know what he answered? He said: "Yes, but I don't think I wanna make out with you..." !!! Can you believe the nerve of that kid? First of all, I didn't ask to make out with him, and second of all; here we are, busting our asses, trying to put on a good rock show, and he finds the situation to be suitable for insults? I think I better call his mama, and have her give him a good spanking! Well, anyway, it gave us all some good entertainment and a good laugh backstage after the show. Boys will be boys, I guess ;)

Anyway: Thank you people of "Tomme Tønner" for having us! Big kiss to all of you!

The BAM New Years Eve party was amazing!

Photo: Paola Zanchi
The Bam New Years Eve Party was amazing. The man behind it all, Franz Barcella worked his ass off, while the rest of us had the best New Years Eve Party ever. DJ Astrid Dante, from Miss Chain & The Broken Heels, was amazing too, the best dj I heard in a long time. Bruno and Franz Barcella was supposed to dj too, but alcohol and the stress of organizing got to them, leaving Astrid solo at the turntable most of the night :)

Caroline & The Treats played as the third of four bands this night, after Industries and Donald Thompson and before Gambe Di Burro. It was crazy! The crowd went bananas, and I fell over the drumkit twice. But that's okay. :)

After the show, I don't really recall much specifics. The night is just a big cluster of dancing, drinking and kissing, which are all good things, so I'm fine with that.  An Italien writer, who wrote a review of the night, actually made up his very own version. He wrote "The Norwegian girl danced around the bar naked, kissing everyone. Her teddybear boyfriend, and guitar player in the band, Morten, got angry with her, making her cry several times throughout the night." Well, relax,  I can assure you that this is pure bullshit! He did not get angry with me, and I never cried. We were all very happy throughout the entire night! And we still are... :)

Happy New Year!
